Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Prep Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for 20 residents as well as maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our kitchen and housekeeping areas.

Point of Hire: Perth WA – will be FIFO/DIDO

Location: Remote Western Australia

Start date: June 2026

Skills:

– Strong cooking skills

– Knowledge of food safety regulations

– Ability to work independently or as part of a small team

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and cook meals according to recipes

– Ensure all food is cooked safely and meets quality standards

– Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly

– Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops

– Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for cooking

Qualifications:

– Proven experience working as a Cook in a remote service industry

– Knowledge of food safety regulations

– Food Safety Training- Essential

– Current National Police Check (within the last 3 months)

– Strong organizational skills
