Ahmadzadeh Salmani<\/a>.\n<h2>Australia<\/h2>\n<strong>Reminders\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n \t<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Flexible work changes<\/strong><strong>\n<\/strong>\nEffective from 6 June 2023, Australia implemented changes to flexible work arrangements to provide employees with greater flexibility in balancing work and personal commitments. <a href=\"https:\/\/employmenthero.com\/my\/blog\/employment-law-updates-june-2023\/\">See last month\u2019s update for more information<\/a>.<\/li>\n \t<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Pay secrecy<\/strong><strong>\n<\/strong><strong>\n<\/strong>Effective from 7 June 2023, pay secrecy regulation changes have been implemented. Employers are now required to ensure transparency and openness in discussing pay-related matters. <a href=\"https:\/\/employmenthero.com\/my\/resources\/employment-law-updates\/\">See last month\u2019s update for more information<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<strong>Upcoming changes\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n \t<li aria-level=\"1\"><strong>Minimum wage and superannuation guarantee contribution increases<\/strong><strong><strong><strong>\n<strong>\n<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>Effective from 1 July 2023, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairwork.gov.au\/newsroom\/news\/awr-2023#national-minimum-wage\">National Minimum Wage<\/a> will be increased to <a href=\"https:\/\/employmenthero.com\/my\/blog\/salary-payments-in-malaysia\/\">$23.23 per hour<\/a> and the superannuation guarantee contribution rate will be increased from 10.5% to 11%. Employers need to adjust their payroll systems to reflect this change accurately.
