In fact, Malaysia turned out to have the largest proportion of HR professionals who use AI to monitor and assess employee performance (46%) when compared to the other markets we surveyed (UK, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore).\n\nHR professionals are also making use of generative AI to create content such as job ads, job descriptions and policies (44%). This capability to streamline content creation helped to free up their time for larger strategy concerns. While content creation was important, summarising content such as top job applicants for a role was a less common use case, with only 32% of respondents using AI to help them in this area.\n\nAs the AI landscape is rapidly changing, many HR leaders also feel a sense of urgency about moving forward with AI in the HR function.
