And yet recent research from Sprout Solutions reports that <a href=\"https:\/\/mb.com.ph\/2022\/01\/21\/majority-of-filipinos-prefer-hybrid-work-model-survey\/\">91% of Filipino workers<\/a> would like to continue working at least some of the time remotely.\n\nSo what\u2019s going on and what does this mean for employers? Let\u2019s revisit remote work in a post-pandemic world.\n<h4 id=\"remote-work-revolution\">Remote work revolution<\/h4>\nOne of the emerging clich\u00e9s of the pandemic has been the extent to which the last two years have <a href=\"https:\/\/employmenthero.com\/my\/resources\/guide-to-future-working-trends\/\">revolutionised the way the world operates<\/a>. From schools and education, supply chains and trade to the way we travel, so much of our lives will never be the same again.\n\nThe world has experienced global pandemics in the past; however, the outbreak of Covid-19 coincided with the third industrial revolution. In a sense that\u2019s true. As a result, we are seeing salaries rise in many countries which will eventually drive great global equity and help raise living standards.
