You may not be able to offer them free coffee and snacks in the office, but there are so many great strategies that you do have access to.\n\nNow that we\u2019re a few years into the popularised remote working model, we\u2019re seeing some innovative ideas in this space that can <a href=\"https:\/\/employmenthero.com\/sg\/blog\/support-remote-employee-wellbeing\/\">help keep your remote employees engaged<\/a> &#8211; wherever they happen to be working.\n<h2 id=\"remote-work-is-in-itself-a-retention-strategy\">Remote work is, in itself, a retention strategy.<\/h2>\nFirst of all, employers of a remote workforce are already in a better position to retain their employees than those who demand in-office attendance.\n\nRemote working is the clear choice for employees around the world. Our <a href=\"https:\/\/employmenthero.com\/sg\/resources\/remote-work-report\/\">Remote Work Report 2021<\/a> survey found that 94% of employees want to work remotely at least one day a week. Adopt a remote-first working model<\/h3>\nIt\u2019s one thing to enable remote working, it\u2019s another thing entirely to be a remote-first workplace.
