IRAS then auto-includes this information in the employees\u2019 online tax returns and assessments.\n<h2>Is my company eligible for the Auto Inclusion Scheme?<\/h2>\nAll companies are encouraged to join the IRAS AIS regardless of their size or number of employees \u2014\u00a0the AIS registration for Year of Assessment (YA) 2024 is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iras.gov.sg\/taxes\/individual-income-tax\/employers\/auto-inclusion-scheme-(ais)-for-employment-income\/join-the-auto-inclusion-scheme-(ais)-for-employment-income#title2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">open from 1 Apr 2023 to 31 Dec 2023<\/a>.\n<h2>Is AIS compulsory for all Singaporean businesses?<\/h2>\nFrom <strong>2023<\/strong>, it is compulsory for Singaporean businesses to join the Auto-Inclusion Scheme if you have <strong>5 or more employees<\/strong> in the company, including:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Full-time resident employees;<\/li>\n \t<li>Part-time resident employees;<\/li>\n \t<li>Non-resident employees including those who are based overseas and are required to render service in Singapore during the year (exclude details of employment income where clearance has been filed);<\/li>\n \t<li>Company directors (including a non-resident director);<\/li>\n \t<li>Board members receiving Board\/Committee Member Fees;<\/li>\n \t<li>Pensioners; and<\/li>\n \t<li>Employees who have left the organisation but were in receipt of income in the reporting year (e.g. stock option gains).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nEmployers who have been identified by IRAS to join the AIS will also receive a notification letter.
