Community and Events Coordinator
Bring our customers together. Make our events memorable. Help our community feel like a community.
About Auxo
For more than 30 years, Auxo has helped automotive businesses across Australia and New Zealand work smarter. Our software supports everyone from global brands to independent workshops, including Auxo Workshop, our growing cloud platform for modern workshop management.
About the role
Our customers already talk to each other. We want to turn those conversations into something bigger: a community worth being part of, events people actually want to attend, and social channels that sound like us.
You’ll sit within the marketing team and report to the GM Marketing, helping bring our event, community and content plans to life. You’ll also work closely with Customer Success and others across Auxo.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, creative and good with people. You’ll enjoy plenty of variety — from bringing an event together and capturing content on the day, to starting conversations with customers and keeping our social channels moving.
What you’ll be doing
-
Bringing our events to life — coordinating venues, suppliers, registrations, travel and the details that make an event run well.
-
Building our customer community — starting conversations, keeping people engaged and connecting questions with the right people at Auxo.
-
Running our social channels — creating, scheduling and publishing content and engaging with our audience.
-
Capturing the action — creating written content, short-form video and photography at events and across the business.
-
Keeping things organised — managing event and community activity in HubSpot, coordinating follow-up and keeping an eye on budgets.
-
Using AI thoughtfully — using AI tools to work more efficiently while applying your own judgement, creativity and attention to quality.
-
Sharing what you learn — keeping an eye on what’s working and bringing useful customer conversations and opportunities back into the business.
You’ll also get involved in internal events and staff activities, so no two weeks are likely to look exactly the same.
What you’ll bring
You’ll need:
- 2+ years’ experience across marketing, events, communications or community.
- Hands-on experience organising and running events.
- Confidence creating social content, including copy, short video and photography.
- Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM, and confidence using AI tools.
- Great organisation, attention to detail and a natural way with customers.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally work outside normal hours for events.
Nice to have: Experience in B2B, SaaS, automotive or trades, customer communities, or basic design.
How to apply
Send us your CV and a cover letter telling us why you’d be a great fit for the role.
And because creativity is part of the job, we’d love to hear what creative flair you’d bring to an Auxo event.
