Site Manager | Lincoln Christchurch | Full-Time

Lead the day-to-day running of our building sites and keep our Christchurch projects on programme, on budget and safe. You’ll work closely with our Project Managers, QSs and Project Administrators to deliver quality outcomes for our clients.

What You’ll Own

• Day-to-day site management — programme, sequencing, subcontractor coordination and quality control

• Health & safety on site — inductions, toolbox talks, hazard management and H&S documentation

• Subcontractor and supplier coordination — scheduling trades, managing deliveries, resolving on-site issues as they arise

• Quality control and defects management — ensuring work meets spec, consent conditions and BMC standards

• Site records — daily diaries, progress photos, and flagging RFIs and variations to the Project Manager/QS as they’re identified

• Client and consultant liaison on site, representing BMC professionally at all times

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience running residential or commercial construction sites in New Zealand OR you’re an experienced Leading Hand ready to step up into a Site Manager role

• A relevant trade qualification (carpentry or similar) is highly regarded

• Current Site Safe certification and a solid working knowledge of NZ H&S legislation

• Confidence with site management platforms; Procore, Aconex, or similar

• Strong communication skills — you can manage subbies, clients and your team with equal ease

• A full, clean NZ driver’s licence
