ABOUT THE ROLE

Ìý

We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Senior Inventory Specialist to join our close-knit Inventory team based at our Highbrook warehouse.

Ìý

Working alongside our National Inventory Manager and two other Inventory Specialists, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy, quality control and customer service across Chemfreight’s operations.

Ìý

Ideally, you’ll have 4+ years’ experience in an Inventory Specialist or Senior Inventory Specialist role and be ready to take the next step in your career into a more senior 2IC position. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their leadership capability while remaining hands-on and closely involved in day-to-day inventory operations.

This is a full-time role, operating Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4.30pm.

Ìý

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

Ìý

  • Lead and co-ordinate cycle count activities from Clients requests and perform in a timely manner
  • Accurately maintain all stock codes physically to system
  • Identify process improvements to ensure high level of productivity, accuracy, and stock control
  • Processing of Disposal transfer orders to Secure Waste Providers
  • Liaise with clients for all Inventory issues and requests
  • File claims for damages, cycle count stock loss/gains in our Event system.
