About our roleÌý

Positioned on the pristine Te Arai coastline just over an hour’s drive Northeast of Auckland, Te Arai Links promises to be a world class golf and luxury resort destination. ÌýÌý

In this role, you will be leading a Front of House Team of 2-15 through successful dining services across various dining periods.Ìý

With your passion for hospitality, you will exceed expectations through effective team management, organisational and leadership skills. It will be important for you to be able to lead the team efficiently while building a rapport with members and guests and using your hospitality intuition and attention to detail to provide exceptional service.Ìý

Key responsibilities will include:Ìý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Train, support and manage our restaurant floor and bar team

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Lead and work alongside the restaurant team to provide a consistently excellent experienceÌý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Ensure the dining areas are clean, correctly maintained and stocked with the stipulated requirements

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Display and uphold a graceful and proactive managerial style

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Coordinate daily itineraries (including floor plans, run sheets, daily tasks) and ensure streamlined communication within the venue and throughout the resort

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Liaise with the kitchen and floor team to ensure the smoothest serviceÌý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Excel in managing successful dining experiences for our members and guests

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Assist with monthly stocktakes and various other admin responsibilities

ÌýAbout youÌýÌý

You will bring your passion for service, leadership and strong hospitality experience, exceptional customer service and a love for coaching and development. Other attributes that would contribute to your success would include:Ìý

Ìý·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý A minimum of three years working in a supervisory position and experience managing larger teams across various dining periods

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Proficiency in the MS Suite, ResDiary, InfoGenesis

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Excellent organisational and time management skillsÌý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Excellent written and verbal communicationÌý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Ability to work flexible hours as required including nights/weekendsÌý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Full understanding of required sequence and standards for a high-end operationÌý

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Valid NZ Drivers License and vehicle

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Valid NZ Work Rights
