Contents
91±¬ÁÏ isn’t just a platform, it’s your ticket to an ever-evolving world of innovation. Every month, our teams are tinkering, testing and building to make employment easier, smarter and more valuable for every organisation.
In 2025, that commitment really kicked into gear. Our R&D engine has been running at full throttle, delivering over 200 product releases and enhancements. Each one turns your subscription into something even more powerful, helping you manage compliance, automate the boring stuff and keep your payroll humming along happily (because who doesn’t love a smooth pay run?).
Here’s a quick look at just a few of the updates we’ve rolled out this year, all designed to make your 91±¬ÁÏ experience better, faster and a little more magical.
Where AI meets employee experience
Our team focused heavily on embedding artificial intelligence into our software and enhancing the employee interaction to transition from simple automation to a fully-personalised intelligent experience. See what’s new:
AI People Insights
We launched AI leave insights in September to analyse employee data to spot key trends, enabling managers to proactively provide targeted support as and where needed.
Smarter Hiring with SmartMatch
SmartMatch applicant scoring in September supercharged hiring, unlocking top talent for employers faster and more accurately.
New Employee Dashboard
We released a new employee benefits & perks dashboard in April to give every employee a clear, centralised view of their compensation package so they don’t miss a thing.
Workflows that give you time back
We focused on eliminating manual friction across complex HR processes, giving you back valuable time.
Streamlined Workflows
We introduced significant improvements to our workflows, including Parallel Approvers in May, allowing multiple approvers to act simultaneously for faster resolution. We released a new Workflow Wizard in July to simplify common processes like leave requests.
The Contractor Wizard
We released the new Contractor Wizard in April to allow employers to effortlessly configure automatic tax withholding, super contributions and GST calculations at the setup stage, improving compliance and efficiency from day one.
End-to-End Offboarding
Offboarding got a lot smarter in February with new tools to embed employee data into farewell communications and tailor workflows for every termination type
Built for security and peace of mind
We put your business’s compliance and data security first, rolling out key updates in 2025 to keep you safe and ahead of every regulation.
Passwordless Security
We rolled out state-of-the-art security with the introduction of Passkeys for Payroll Web in August. This passwordless login option makes signing in simpler and significantly more secure, alongside a new security layer that detects and verifies suspicious logins.
Award Costing
We released Award Costing for Payroll customers in June across Rosters, Timesheets, and Classifications. This provides better insights into your labour costs, helping you manage budgets and profitability with precision.
Critical Compliance Updates
We rolled out automatic compliance with key regulatory changes, with updates for the HR platform to reflect the latest Australian Superannuation rate of 12% in July, and integrating the updated Fair Work Information Statement in July 2025.
