Some of our brands go back over 80 years, and since AO formed in 2018 we’ve combined deep product knowledge with a passion for innovation across the Outdoor, Leisure and Industrial categories.

About the Role

Great with people but done with retail hours? We’re after an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer to join our growing team. You’ll still be helping customers every day, just without the late nights or weekend rosters. This is a collaborative, Monday to Friday role where you can focus on giving customers a genuinely great experience.

You’ll support both internal and external customers, process orders and warranty claims, manage enquiries, and provide support across phone, email, chat and social media.

  • Resolving product and delivery queries quickly and professionally
  • Processing orders, returns, credits and warranty claims
  • Supporting the Sales, Marketing, Finance, Warehouse and eCommerce teams
  • Updating customer records in NetSuite and Salesforce
  • Flagging product or website issues to the right internal team
  • Greeting visitors and assisting with online order pickups
  • Popping down to the warehouse to test products, check orders and assist the warehouse team with the odd customer order

About You

If you’ve worked in retail, hospitality or call centres, you already have a great foundation. We’ll help you translate those skills into an office environment.

  • Experience in customer service, retail or call centre roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Good attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team
  • Confident with Outlook, Excel and CRM systems
  • An interest in the outdoors is a bonus, not a requirement

What’s in It for You

  • Monday to Friday, no late nights or weekends
  • Nine-day fortnight available (after successful completion of probation)
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Staff, family and friends discounts across the entire AO range
