About the Role
AMS is seeking a full-time Compliance Specialist to join our Perth-basedÌýCompliance and Emergency Management Team. Whilst based primarily at our head office –ÌýlocatedÌýwithin the Perth Airport precinct, this role will involve regular travel to regional and remote locations across Australia and ongoing Site support.Ìý
In this role, you will support both AMS-managed aerodromes and our wider client base to achieve andÌýmaintainÌýregulatory compliance and industry best practice. Working closely with internal teams, you will contribute to and lead the development,ÌýimplementationÌýand monitoring of compliance programs, as well as deliver a range of standalone projects.Ìý
About You
You recognise the critical role aerodromes play within the aviation industry and are motivated to build your career within this specialised sector. AMS will provide ongoing training and development; however, you will be well positioned for success if you bring experience in one or more of the following areas:Ìý
Ìý
• Airport management, airline ground operations, quality assurance, auditing, emergency planning/management, and/or safety and risk managementÌý
• The holding of a current ARO certificate and demonstrated experience in Airfield Reporting duties will be desirable yet not essentialÌý
• Development of technical documentation, including reports, policies, procedures and operational manualsÌý
• A sound understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework applicable to aerodromes, particularly CASAÌýPart 139 (Aerodromes)ÌýManual Of Standards.Ìý
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesÌý
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and other computerÌýbased systems to support officeÌýbased and remote work activitiesÌý
• Solid technical aptitude with a commitment to continuous learningÌý
• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teamsÌý
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholdersÌý
• A practical, solution-focused approachÌý
You will hold a current and valid driver’s licence and be eligible to obtain andÌýmaintainÌýan Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).Ìý
