What You’ll Be Doing

You will manage a portfolio of bookkeeping clients while working closely with our offshore team and internal accounting professionals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

·Managing end-to-end bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients

·Processing payroll and managing the accurate and timely delivery of compliance obligations (BAS, IAS, STP, payroll tax, TPAR and WorkCover)

·Preparing reconciliations, management reports and financial information

·Ownership of client outcomes ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently and to a high standard

·Delivering exceptional client service and acting as a trusted advisor

·Lead client onboarding, process improvements, file reviews and clean-ups

·Collaborating with and supporting our offshore team to ensure quality and efficiency

About You

You’ll be an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys both the technical and relationship-management aspects of the role. Ideally, you’ll have:

·Hands on experience managing multiple bookkeeping clients within a public practice or bookkeeping firm

·Strong knowledge of BAS, payroll and statutory compliance obligations

·Experience using Xero and cloud-based systems

·Excellent reconciliation and problem solving skills with a focus on attention to detail

·Proven communication and client relationship management skills

·The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team
