Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Fabrication Leading Hand to join our Operations Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who enjoys leading by example while remaining hands-on in the workshop.

About the Role

• Support the Supervisor in leading, mentoring and developing Boilermakers and Welders.
• Coordinate daily fabrication activities.
• Interpret fabrication drawings and welding specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections.
• Maintain QA documentation and weld traceability.
• Liaise with Production Planning, Stores and QA.
• Promote safety and continuous improvement.

About You

• Trade qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator.
• Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience.
• Mining or heavy fabrication experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Essential Requirements

• Trade Qualification.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Forklift (LF).
• Confined Space Entry.
• Dogging Licence.
• Overhead Crane experience.
