Expressions of Interest- University Placement Opportunities

Barenbrug, one of Australia’s largest seed companies and a member of the Royal Barenbrug group, has commitment to exceeding the expectations of its employees, it’s customers and industry partners. We have developed a university placement opportunity for Agronomy and Agribusiness students for both 35 and 75 hour placements.

About the Program

The Barenbrug placement opportunity aims to provide an extensive and engaging experience for Students in the Australian pasture seed industry. Focusing on both the business and agronomic side of the company, this program will offer an understanding of Barenbrug’s operations, allowing Students to develop their skills and knowledge across various departments.

The program aims to achieve the following objectives:

• Understanding of the pasture seed industry.
• Exposure to various areas of the seed industry, including Agronomy, Sales, Customer Service, Inventory/Logistics, Marketing and Research.

About you

Our placement opportunities are open to Agriculture student who possesses the following qualifications and attributes:

• Currently studying Agricultural business/Science.
• Strong team orientation and a genuine enjoyment of collaborating with others.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and motivation to acquiring knowledge on the job.
• Demonstrates strong problem solving skills and the ability to think critically in order to find innovative solutions.
• Have a current Australian Drivers Licence
