We are seeking a motivated, reliable team member to join our Edinburgh North warehouse team as an Order Picker/Packer (Order Assembler) and Forklift Operator.
This full-time role is responsible for accurately picking, packing and assembling customer orders, meeting daily dispatch targets, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse and dispatch area while maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace.
What you will be doing
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or assembly role (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Pick, load and unload trucks safely and with minimal stock damage.
- Your role as part of our yard team is to provide ensure orders are picked, packed and loaded onto trucks safely.
- Checking paperwork, cross checking stock to ensure it is correct and communicating with the yard manager if there are any issues.
- Success in this role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret production paperwork and order instructions.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or assembly role
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver boxes up to 20kg.
- Forklift licence and current driver’s licence (both essential)
- White Card (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production paperwork
- Good communication and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to safe work practices (WHS)
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)
