About the Role

Specialising in Land Conservation/Bush Regeneration within the evolving industry of Land Restoration from our Townsville base. ÌýWithÌýnumerousÌýprojects inÌýSoutheastÌýQueensland the surrounding regions, you will lead your team and deliver various aspects of land conservation and management including, weed monitoring and control, planting, native seed collection, ecological monitoring, pestÌýmanagementÌýand equipment maintenance. Ìý

To be successful in this role, you will haveÌýdemonstratedÌýexperience in the following:

• Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (or equivalent)
• Experience in vegetation, land, or weed management
• Ability to identify native and weed species
• Chemical application accreditation (ACDC) and spraying experience
• Experience leading or supervising field-based teams
• 4WD driving and towing experience (desirable)

Experience using data collection platformsÌý

Experience in leading teams and supporting positive and supportive team cultureÌý

Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Demonstrated ability to follow and implement SWMSÌýÌý
