We are currently taking Expression of Interest for a Lifestyle Support Worker in Brisbane, QLD.

The Lifestyle Worker role involves providing flexible, person-centered support to individuals living with mental and physical health conditions, and social disadvantages.

This includes fostering independence, choice, and control in various settings. Duties include domestic assistance, medication management, transport, skill development, and community participation, with a strong focus on adhering to organisational policies, NDIS standards, and workplace safety practices.

Job Description:

Core Responsibilities: Includes assisting with daily activities, social engagement, and skill development, ensuring people can live meaningful and independent lives.

Administrative Tasks: Accurate and timely record-keeping, and adherence to service protocols, and NDIS Practice Standards.

Work Conditions: Involves flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, with possible overnight shifts and on-call duties (please note that you must be willing to travel around the Brisbane area).

Qualifications and Requirements: Current NDIS and WWCC Screening Cards. A valid full driver’s licence and a reliable, insured vehicle for work-related duties. Commitment to workplace safety, NDIS principles, and relevant legislation.
