Description

Broadsheet’s Sales and Partnerships team is responsible for driving commercial revenue for the business through creative advertising solutions. We work with Australia’s biggest brands and agencies to develop innovative, meaningful partnerships that drive real business results.

We are looking for a Senior Sales and Partnerships Manager who has a thorough understanding of the media industry and content landscape, alongside a natural ability to develop deep relationships with media agencies and clients. This is a role for someone who is both creatively and commercially minded. You will be pivotal in shaping what you sell, working closely with Broadsheet’s award winning studio team to create integrated solutions for our partners that span across articles, video, events and digital media. Most importantly, you will make a significant impact as part of one of Australia’s most influential independent media publishers and lifestyle brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow revenue across a portfolio of high value clients, meeting your quarterly targets while helping the team reach our collective budget.
  • Build and maintain your agency patch and key brand relationships, positioning Broadsheet as the primary partner for culture led campaigns.
  • Manage the sales process end to end, pitching creative branded content and digital media solutions that clients genuinely get excited about.
  • Provide quarterly forecasting, pipeline management and revenue reporting to ensure accurate business visibility.
  • Deliver comprehensive sales reporting and commercial analysis to leadership.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, category movements and the competitive landscape to proactively identify opportunities for clients and the business.
  • Have a real voice in how we grow by bringing honest insights from your agencies and brands back to the leadership team to help plan our next moves.

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in media sales with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large agency groups or enterprise level clients.
  • Strong background in developing and selling creative branded content solutions.
  • strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to confidently lead complex partnership conversations.
  • A natural ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both externally and internally.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a proven capability to overcome obstacles and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Highly organised with exceptional skills in prioritisation, time management and multitasking.
  • Results focused and entirely comfortable meeting tight deadlines.
