Position: Venue Technician (Lighting) – CasualÌý
Venue: The Concourse, ChatswoodÌý
Salary: $38-45 / hr plus superÌý
Minimum experience:Ìý
- Operate, program and design using ETC Eos lighting console in theatre or live musicÌý

MinimumÌý2ÌýyearsÌýof experience in operating,ÌýprogrammingÌýand designing in a live theatre/music performance spaceÌý
- MA3ÌýproficiencyÌýis also desirableÌý

About the Role:ÌýAs a Lighting technician at Century, you willÌýbe responsible forÌýdesigning, setting up, andÌýoperatingÌýlighting consoles for a wide range of live events. You will work closely with directors, production teams, and other technical staff to ensure that every performance is visually stunning and runs smoothly.Ìý

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCESÌý
Required:Ìý
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a performing arts centre, theatre, productionÌýcompanyÌýor related industry is considered necessary.Ìý
Demonstrated experience and high-level understanding of technical equipment used in performance spaces of this kind.Ìý
Expert level competency on in-house equipment relevant to the department.Ìý

Desirable:Ìý
Competent Testing and tagging (AS/NZS 3760)Ìý
Construction Industry Induction (white Card)Ìý
Competent in safe operation of EWP’s (Vertical Lift)Ìý
Experience with I.T. infrastructure, switching, and network managementÌý
Basic or Intermediate Rigging LicenseÌý
AutoCAD or similar experienceÌý
Working Safely at Heights CompetenceÌý
