experiences as the Rise Camp Director.
We are looking for the next Rise Camp Director to run our primary and teen Holiday Camps held at CYC Blue LagoonÌýin Dodges Ferry, Tasmania.
Although CYC Blue Lagoon is the newest member of the CYC family, it has been running for over 60 years, and has a strong tradition and legacy of running ministry camps. Through this role, working alongside the CYC Holiday Camps Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to continue that legacy by creating incredible memory-making moments for young people as they discover who God is and build lifelong friendships through all the fun of camp.
To make all this happen, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation and implementation of these camps. This includes the camp program, recruitment and training of volunteer leadership teams, liaising with campsite management and staff, as well as the oversight of camp as a whole.
This position should appeal to someone with a strong passion for children’s and youth ministry, experience in leading teams, and the drive to grow and develop an existing ministry. About us
As the ministry department ofÌýChristian Youth Camps, CYC Ministries currently facilitates over 45 camps and events for young people, families and leaders predominantly held across our campsites. Whilst our Christian faith is at the core of what we do, CYC camps and events extend to young people and families from a diverse range of backgrounds aiming to encourage campers to develop new skills, grow in their confidence and create life-long memories whilst engaging in Christian input and discussing life and faith.

·You have a proven ability to lead a ministry through setting vision and inspiring others to get on board

This 4-5 day per week (negotiable) position will be based on site at CYC Blue Lagoon in
Dodges Ferry, Tasmania and includes out-of-office school holiday commitments.
