Circle Green Community Legal (Circle Green) is a community legal centre providing humanitarian, tenancy, workplace, and family and domestic violence legal advice, casework, community legal education, referrals, outreach, and support.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Intake, Triage and Administration Officer plays a key role in delivering high-quality, client-centred intake and administrative services across phone, online, and in-person channels. The position is responsible for assessing and prioritising client legal and non-legal needs, coordinating timely referrals to internal and external services, and ensuring a seamless, trauma-informed client experience.
Working closely with lawyers, paralegals, and support staff, the officer supports the effective delivery of legal services by maintaining accurate client records, coordinating appointments and interpreters, and assisting with data entry and reporting. The role also includes supervising and training volunteers, while fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders to enhance service accessibility and outcomes for clients.

Experience & Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to understand and convey complex details to people with English as second language, mental illness, functional illiteracy, and people under pressure.Ìý
- Sound judgment and ability to workÌýin line with established systems and processes.Ìý
- Time management and organisation skills (including multi-tasking)Ìýwith proven ability to prioritise work activitiesÌýand meet deadlines.Ìý
- Ability to undertake data entry tasks with precision and accuracy when working under pressure.Ìý
