Description

About the Role

Compact Home Lifts is seeking an experienced Management Consultant to analyse, improve and optimise our organisational systems, sales processes, and commercial operations. This is a full-time, Melbourne-based position.

Working across our business units, you will assess current operational structures, identify inefficiencies, and develop and implement solutions to improve business performance. Your work will span sales operations, process design, CRM systems, workflow automation, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • ·Assess and evaluate existing organisational structures, business processes, systems, and workflows across sales, marketing, and operational functions to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • ·Consult with business leaders, sales managers, and operational staff to understand current process shortcomings, system limitations, and commercial performance gaps.
  • ·Develop strategies, frameworks, and implementation plans to improve organisational efficiency, sales conversion performance, and commercial outcomes.
  • ·Analyse and document current workflow processes, data flows, and system configurations, producing structured records including process maps, SOPs, user guides, and system documentation.
  • ·Design and recommend solutions to resolve organisational and operational problems, including CRM configuration, pipeline architecture, lifecycle stage design, and workflow automation.
  • ·Oversee the implementation of approved recommendations, including issuing revised procedures, configuration changes, and supporting documentation across teams.
  • ·Review operational procedures and reporting outputs, advising leadership on departures from agreed standards and recommending corrective actions.
  • ·Build and maintain real-time performance reporting frameworks, funnel metrics, and management dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • ·Deliver structured change management activities, including staff training, adoption monitoring, and ongoing system governance to embed process improvements.
  • ·Evaluate emerging technologies and system capabilities for commercial relevance and present assessed recommendations to leadership with supporting business cases.
  • ·Scale and adapt approved organisational frameworks across multiple business units, ensuring consistency while accommodating operational differences.
  • ·Conduct organisational studies and reviews to improve management methods and structures.
  • ·Prepare recommendations for senior management regarding changes to business processes and organisational procedures.
  • ·Advise management on policies and strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.

Skills and Experience Required

Experience

  • ·Proven experience analysing and redesigning business processes, operational workflows, and organisational systems in a commercial environment.
  • ·Demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions to improve sales performance, process efficiency, and forecast accuracy.
  • ·Experience consulting with and advising senior stakeholders, including executives, sales leadership, and operational teams.
  • ·Track record of delivering change management, system adoption, and staff training initiatives.
  • ·Experience producing detailed process documentation, workflow analysis, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
  • ·Experience working across multi-brand or multi-unit business structures (preferred).
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • ·Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Commerce, Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • ·Candidates with at least five years of relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications will be considered.
  • ·Relevant professional certifications or postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
