About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Production Operator with a background in food manufacturing to join our Heidelberg West team. If you’re passionate about food safety, quality, and working in a fast-paced production environment – this is your opportunity to step into a role where your experience truly matters.

What You’ll be Doing

• Follow direction from the Production Manager and Team Lead to deliver production targets on time
• Operating and monitoring production equipment to meet safety, quality, and output targets
• Following GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards at all times
• Completing batch documentation and production records accurately
• Performing basic calculations for batching, measurements, and production requirements
• Performing basic troubleshooting and equipment checks to keep production running smoothly
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Working closely with the team to deliver on daily production plans
• Identifying, supporting and participating in continuous improvement opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in food manufacturing or food production environments (highly desirable)
• Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and quality standards
• Basic maths skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations and measurements
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
• Proactive, reliable, and hands-on approach
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting
• Physically fit and able to roll up their sleeves and perform manual tasks (including lifting up to 15kg)
• Forklift license (highly desirable)
