Are you an organised, detail-focused administrator who enjoys working with people and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes?

Weldon Children’s Services is looking for a Business Support Coordinator to join our Support Office team in North Strathfield.

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our administration functions. You’ll play an important part in supporting our Early Learning and OSHC services, our employees and the families who choose Weldon.

About the Role

Working as part of our Support Office team, you’ll provide practical day-to-day administrative support across a range of functions.

Maintain accurate child, family, and employee records in line with organisational policies and data protection regulations.

  • Providing general administrative support to the Support Office
  • Responding to routine family enquiries by phone and email
  • Supporting family enquiries, waitlists, enrolments, bookings and commencement processes
  • Maintaining accurate child, family and employee records
  • Completing data entry and maintaining registers, spreadsheets and electronic filing systems
  • Assisting with recruitment administration, candidate correspondence and interview scheduling
  • Supporting employee onboarding, induction and employment documentation
  • Assisting with the maintenance of Working with Children Checks, qualifications and mandatory training records
  • Following up outstanding documentation with families and employees
  • Supporting routine reporting and data-quality checks
  • Previous experience in administration, business support, or customer service, preferably within a child services or education environment.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, reliable and comfortable managing a variety of administrative priorities.

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in administration, business support, customer service or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for daily tasks and data management.
  • Confidence communicating with families, employees and internal stakeholders
  • Strong data-entry and records-management skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion
  • Competence using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • The ability to learn and confidently use new organisational systems
  • A strong understanding of privacy and confidentiality

Experience using a childcare-management system, CRM or similar database.

A current Working with Children Check, where required by Weldon, will also apply.
