About the
Opportunity
We are seeking
a proactive and technically minded IT & Business Systems Support Officer to
join our growing team in Perth.
Working closely
with our Innovation & Technology Coordinator, you will play a key role in
supporting and improving the systems that underpin our business operations.
This is a hands-on position that combines IT support, business systems
administration, reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement
initiatives.
You’ll work
across a range of technologies including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics
365 Business Central, Power BI, Power Query, and SQL, helping users get the
most from our systems while contributing to projects that enhance efficiency
and business performance.
This role is
ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, supporting
end users, and identifying opportunities to improve processes through
technology.
Key
Responsibilities
IT & Business Systems
Support
- Provide day-to-day support for business
systems, software, hardware, and Microsoft 365 applications across the
organisation.
- Troubleshoot technical and system-related
issues, escalating to external vendors where required.
- Support user account management, system
access, permissions, and system documentation.
- Assist with the implementation, testing,
maintenance, and enhancement of business systems, including Microsoft
Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Reporting & Data
Management
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports
and dashboards using Power BI.
- Support data extraction, transformation,
analysis, and reporting activities using Power Query and SQL.
- Assist stakeholders with reporting
requirements while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Continuous Improvement &
Projects
- Support technology, systems, and business
improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Assist with system upgrades,
integrations, process automation, and workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify
opportunities to improve business processes and system functionality.

Essential
Skills & Experience
- Experience in an IT support, systems support,
or business systems role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
applications and services.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics
365 Business Central.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards
using Power BI.
- Experience using Power Query and SQL for
reporting and data analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving
skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the
ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to
data accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder
engagement skills.
Desirable
- Exposure to ERP or financial systems.
- Understanding of business and financial
processes.
- Experience supporting technology, systems, or
business improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Information Technology,
Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a
related discipline; or
- Equivalent demonstrated industry experience.

- Conduct regular system checks and updates to ensure software and hardware are functioning effectively.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Document technical processes and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in training sessions for staff on new systems and software applications.
Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a technical support role or similar position is advantageous but not essential.
