Description

Equipped Resources is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused, reliable & skilled Volumetric Concrete Truck Operator to join our growing team. This dual purpose role involves managing the concrete batching process at our yard, or on site, and operating a Volumetric Truck to deliver and mix concrete solutions directly at client’s sites. You will be responsible for ensuring mix accuracy, maintaining equipment and providing exceptional on-site service. The role also offers excellent career development opportunities and hands-on exposure across concrete production, quarry materials, plant operation, batching, scheduling, and logistics within the construction industry.

We’re looking for a motivated go-getter who is passionate about safety, results-driven, and brings strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment for this autonomous role.

Ìý

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately batch concrete to specified mix designs using dedicated batching programs and systems
  • Safely operate a front-end loader/excavator to load materials for batching
  • Manage day-to-day inventory administration, including raw material stock control
  • Ensure all products meet strict quality and compliance standards
  • Safely Operate a Volumetric Concrete Truck to deliver & batch concrete on site
  • Conduct pre-start & post trip inspections of the vehicle, toolbox talks, and incident reporting
  • Complete daily paperwork and dockets as required
  • Maintain cleanliness of the truck and equipment, general housekeeping and assist with routine maintenance

Skills and Experience

  • Current HR licence
  • Front-end loader & Excavator ticket (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience operating an agitator truck (preferred but not essential)
  • White Card (Construction)
  • Ability to carry out concrete cylinder testing (preferred but not essential)
  • Sound understanding of concrete, including mix designs, slump, cement types, and water/cement ratios
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Commitment to health and safety best practices
  • Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
