The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our dynamic Logistics team as a Dispatch Supervisor. This full-time role is based at our Lonsdale location, where you will play a key part in overseeing the efficient movement of goods and materials through our supply chain.
Typical duties will include:
Support the Distribution Manager in achieving the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Customer Satisfaction KPIs, by:
- Create and manage dispatch schedules and route plans to ensure efficient use of dispatch docks and company delivery vehicles, aligning with Master Delivery Schedules.
- Direct, coordinate, and communicate plans to team members, ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
- Track and monitor vehicle fleet performance, identifying and addressing inefficiencies or non-conformances, and communicating findings as necessary.
- Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of goods readiness, order completeness, and effective dispatch, reporting any product damages or issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation for the handover, inspection, and delivery of orders, following up on any outstanding items.
- Compile and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, providing insights into performance metrics.
- Assist with hands-on tasks, including loading/unloading and driving trucks or other materials handling equipment as needed.
- Regularly inspect vehicles and warehouse areas to ensure compliance with WHS and housekeeping standards, addressing any issues directly with the team.
- Foster a positive team environment, developing and empowering team members to maximise performance and drive continuous improvement.

- Have a good geographical knowledge of Adelaide and surrounding areas (beneficial).
- Possess a high level of physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual lifting.
- Be flexible with working hours and capable of doing overtime if required.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- MR Licence (preferred)
