About the RoleÌý

We’reÌýlooking for an AI-first Full Stack Software Engineer to build the systems that support how we deliver care at scale.Ìý

You’llÌýwork across frontend and backend, creating reliable, maintainable solutions that connect real-world care experiences with the technology behind them.ÌýYou’llÌýcontribute across everything from user-facing features to platform capabilities.Ìý

You’llÌýbe part of a hands-on, genuinely collaborative teamÌýof engineers, systemÌýthinkersÌýand innovators. Think getting around a whiteboard together, unpacking problems, challenging ideas, and designing solutions as a group. The work isÌýsubstantive;Ìýthe problems are challenging;ÌýandÌýexpectationsÌýon theÌýwholeÌýPlatform teamÌýto continue deliveringÌýare high.Ìý

This is aÌýhybrid role,Ìýbalancing in-office collaboration with focused work from home. WhenÌýyou’reÌýin,Ìýyou’llÌýbe based in our modern South Bank office, close to great cafes and restaurants, with easy access to public transport.Ìý

WhatÌýYou’llÌýBe DoingÌý

• Designing and building scalable, high-quality full stack applications — with AI-assisted tooling (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) as a natural part of your development workflowÌý
• Developing intuitive, responsive front-end experiencesÌýÌý
• Building robust backend services, APIs, and integrations — including services that connect to and support agentic and AI-driven workflowsÌý
• Collaborating closely with engineers, product, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutionsÌýÌý
• Contributing to system design, architecture, and technical decision-makingÌýÌý
• Writing clean, well-testedÌýand secureÌýcode with AI copilot development tools as a genuine part of how you build — and continuously raising the bar on engineering qualityÌý

About YouÌý

You enjoy building end-to-end solutions and care about creating systems that are both functional and well designed.ÌýYou’reÌýcollaborative, take ownership, and bring clarity to complex problems. AI is already part of how you work — not somethingÌýyou’reÌýcurious about eventually, but something you reach for every day.Ìý

You’llÌýbring:Ìý

• Hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript on the backend, and React (Vite) on the frontendÌý
• Strong fundamentals in software design and problem-solvingÌý
• Experience building APIs and working with distributed systems, deployed into Azure and AWSÌý
• Comfortable with Docker for local development and containerised workflowsÌý
• A testing mindset — writing unit tests with Jest and end-to-end tests with PlaywrightÌý
• Familiar with GitHub for source control, branching strategies, and collaborative PR reviewsÌý
• Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersÌý Ìý

You’reÌýalso energised by AI—actively using AI-assisted tools or working with AI/ML concepts, and excited by how data platforms enable intelligent systems.Ìý

Bonus points for experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, cloud platforms, or product-led environments.Ìý
