As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Practice Lead to join our Day Programs team under an individualised model of support.

About the Role  

We are looking for an experienced and values driven Practice Lead in our Day Programs team to lead, inspire and elevate our Day Programs area.

As our Practice Lead, you will be the driving force behind developing the skills, and quality practice of a team of disability support workers and effective systems that evidence this practice to ensure high-quality, person-centred Day Programs that:   

  • Promote choice, control and independence  
  • Align with NDIS goals and funding  
  • Deliver exceptional, safe, care and support with meaningful, measurable outcomes  

Position Requirements  

Applicants must be available to work:  

  • Monday to Friday – 8.24am to 4pm 
  • Working in direct care up to 50 % of the time in your role  
  • On call responsibilities on a rotation with other service leaders 

Essential Requirements  

  • An experienced disability professional with strong leadership capability  
  • Confident managing staff performance, providing coaching and feedback, supervision and team culture  
  • Skilled in rostering, meeting service related compliance and site and community based operational oversight  
  • Passionate about person centred care   
  • Demonstrated experience in day services and contemporary best practice, including Restrictive Interventions, Behavioural and Clinical Recording.   
  • Calm and capable in managing complex incidents and concerns  
  • Minimum Cert IV in Disability (or equivalent)  
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of NDIS and SIL practice standards  
  • Current drivers licence, First Aid, NDIS Worker Screening and Employee Working with Children Check  
  • The right to work in Australia
