We are seeking a dedicated Local Cleaner to join our team in Mount Morgan, Queensland, within the mining industry. The Site CleanerÌýis responsible for maintaining a clean,ÌýhygienicÌýand safe environment across Heritage Minerals operationalÌýfacilities. This casual part-time role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and a commitment to high-quality work.

Key ResponsibilitiesÌý

General HousekeepingÌý

• Clean andÌýmaintainÌýsite facilities including offices, crib rooms, ablutionÌýblocksÌýandÌýcommon areas.Ìý
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming,ÌýdustingÌýand sanitising surfaces.Ìý
• Clean bathrooms and amenities ensuring adequate supplies of consumable (toilet paper, soap, paper towels)Ìý
• Manage waste disposal,ÌýrecyclingÌýand removal of rubbishÌýin accordance withÌýthe stie procedures.Ìý
• Clean windows, walls,ÌýfloorsÌýand fixtures asÌýrequired.Ìý

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)Ìý

• Comply withÌýall Heritage Minerals safety policies,ÌýproceduresÌýand site rules.Ìý
• IdentifyÌýand report hazards,ÌýincidentsÌýor maintenance issues to supervisors.Ìý
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely andÌýin accordance withÌýSafety Data Sheets (SDS).Ìý
• MaintainÌýhigh standardsÌýof hygiene to support workforce health and wellbeing.Ìý

Equipment and SuppliesÌý

• Correctly use andÌýmaintainÌýcleaning equipment and tools.Ìý
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock levels.Ìý
• Ensure storage areas are kept clean,ÌýorganisedÌýand secure.Ìý

• Work cooperatively with site services and operations staff.Ìý
• Maintain professionalism and respect when working in occupied areas.Ìý

Skills, Experience and QualificationsÌý

EssentialÌý

• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirementsÌý
• Physically capable of performing manual tasks, including lifting and prolonged standing.Ìý
• Reliable,ÌýpunctualÌýand committed toÌýhigh standardsÌýof cleanliness.Ìý

DesirableÌý

• Experience in a mining or remote site environment.Ìý
