You’llÌýbuild relationships, solveÌýproblemsÌýand manage everything fromÌýtenancy compliance and arrears to property,ÌýwellbeingÌýand complex customer matters. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESÌýÌý
- Managing tenancy and neighbourhood matters, including rent and non-rent arrears, breaches, propertyÌýcareÌýand responsible conduct.ÌýÌý
- Building positive relationships with customers andÌýprovidingÌýclear advice about their rights and responsibilities.ÌýÌý
- Conducting property inspections, home visits and customer wellbeing checks and following up actions.ÌýÌý
- Managing sensitive and complex matters, including domestic and family violence and mandatory reporting, in line with policy and legislation.ÌýÌý
- Managing NCAT matters, including preparing documentation and submissions andÌýrepresentingÌýHume whereÌýrequired.ÌýÌý
- MaintainingÌýaccurateÌýtenancy records and documentation across relevant systems.ÌýÌý
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve positive customer outcomes.ÌýÌý
- Applying the NSW Affordable Housing Ministerial Guidelines, eligibility requirements,ÌýlegislationÌýand Hume policies to tenancy decisions.Ìý

REQUIREMENTSÌý
- Experience in community services, housing, tenancyÌýmanagementÌýor a similar environment.ÌýÌý
- An understanding of affordable housing eligibility and rent-setting principles, with the ability to apply the NSW Affordable Housing Ministerial Guidelines.ÌýÌý
- An understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and NCAT processes.ÌýÌý
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.ÌýÌý
- The ability to manage sensitive and complex matters with empathy,ÌýprofessionalismÌýand sound judgement.ÌýÌý
- Strong administration and attention to detail, particularly inÌýmaintainingÌýaccurateÌýrecords and documentation.ÌýÌý
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook,ÌýWordÌýand Excel.ÌýÌý
- A current NSW Driver Licence and access to an insured vehicle.ÌýÌý
- Checks required: Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.Ìý
