WhatÌýyou’llÌýbe doingÌý
Responsibilities include:Ìý
- Lead the development and review of avionics, power, and support system requirementsÌýÌý
- Contribute to end-to-end avionics system design for the DART vehicleÌýÌý
- Run trade studies to select COTS components and guide bespoke developmentÌýÌý
- Design and deliver wiring harnesses, collaborating closely with technicians on buildÌýÌý
- Partner with suppliers and technical stakeholders, leading key engineering interactionsÌýÌý
- Execute subsystem testing (EMI/EMC, vibration, thermal, shock) toÌývalidateÌýperformanceÌýÌý
- Bring systems to life — set up, characterise, and prepare for modelling and verificationÌýÌý
- Drive integration and troubleshooting, ensuring systems are assembly-readyÌýÌý
- Plan and deliver verification and environmental testing across systemsÌýÌý
- Operate within a structured engineering management frameworkÌýÌý
- Maintain strong adherence to policies, standards, and company valuesÌý

WhatÌýYou’llÌýBringÌý
To hit the ground running in this role,Ìýyou’llÌýneed:Ìý
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or STEM discipline.Ìý
- 5+ years of engineering experience working with embedded electronic systems, ideally in aerospace applications.Ìý
- Experience or detailed knowledge of low voltage battery power systems.ÌýÌý
- Flight Test instrumentations or telemetry system experience in a test environment.Ìý
- Demonstrated independent problem-solving, and resolution of technical issues.Ìý
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ìý
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ìý
- Ability to obtain any applicable security clearance or background checks.Ìý
- Right to live and work in Australia.Ìý
