About the role
Our JMG Used Car team is looking for a motivated and customer-focused professional to join us. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and building strong client relationships.
To succeed in this role, you’ll stay informed on the latest automotive industry trends and develop expert knowledge of the vehicles we offer. You’ll provide outstanding customer service while confidently identifying and recommending the right vehicle to suit each customer’s lifestyle and needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive used vehicle sales and contribute to achieving dealership sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through exceptional service and communication.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle options to match their lifestyle and budget.
- Present vehicles professionally and coordinate engaging test drive experiences.
- Manage customer enquiries and follow up on leads in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare sales documentation, contracts of sale, and all relevant paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate customer records and vehicle information within dealership systems.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the entire sales journey.
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge across all used vehicle stock and industry trends.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional showroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve dealership and customer satisfaction goals.
About you
- A proven track record in selling used vehicles with previous experience essential.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills both written and verbal.
- Current Driver’s License.
- A genuine love for people and the sales process.
- An outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to nurture positive, long-term relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- A proactive problem solver with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Well-presented, process-driven and highly organised, with the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential. What you do need is a solid work ethic, a positive attitude and a passion for achieving excellence.
