The Role:
ToÌýcarry outÌýregional site services and support, with an emphasis on safety, productivity, profitability, customer service,Ìýquality,Ìýand reliability.
The position requires a high percentage of time in the field,Ìýdiagnosing errors and technical problems,Ìýpromoting company services,ÌýandÌýidentifyingÌýareas for operational improvement to supportÌýfutureÌýbusiness and project success.
This role is not restricted to the listed location — while our office is based in Ohio, we welcome applications from candidates across neighbouring states.
Responsibilities:
- Travelling throughout the region to various mining operations for regular on-site inspections and visitsÌýÌý
- Auditing, testing,Ìýinstallation,Ìýcommissioning, warranty,ÌýandÌýbreakdownÌýassistanceÌýofÌýMinetek’sÌýAir, Sound, and WaterÌýproductsÌý
- Completing regionalÌýservice and repair jobsÌýto ensure theyÌýare completed to theÌýcustomersÌýexpected level of quality and within the negotiatedÌýtime frameÌý
- Providing quick response solutions to technical issues that may arise during or post installationÌý
- Liaising closely with key stakeholders to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achievedÌý
- Establish andÌýmaintainÌýrelationships with existing and new vendorsÌýand contractorsÌýwithin the regionÌý
- Providing assistanceÌýand guidance toÌýservice staffÌýand ProjectÌýManagers on all project related mattersÌý
- AssistingÌýwith various operational requirements, assessment, processÌýimprovementÌýand documentation asÌýrequiredÌý
- IdentifyingÌýopportunities forÌýadditionalÌýproduct salesÌýand servicesÌýthrough effective relationship management and networkingÌý
- EnsuringÌýMinetekÌýquality standards areÌýupheld,Ìýand that work is conducted safely andÌýin accordance withÌýcompany policy at all times
Skills & Experience:
- Essential trade qualifications, experience working in a similar role, and highly capable with equipment installs and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, can-do attitude
- Calm and confident when resolving escalated issues from operations, which will require quick thinking, resourcefulness, and effective collaboration
- An inherent technical aptitude with the ability to learn new products, understanding their capability and associated benefits that will support client relations
- Highly adaptable with exceptional fault-finding and independent problem-solving skills
- Can produce detailed and informative reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Hands-on project supervision and coordination of site personnel and subcontractors
- Can consistently think ‘outside of the box’ to improve project deliverables, timelines, and margins
- Strong safety management awareness with a passion for educating and promoting
- fundamental WHS practices in line with company policies and procedures
- Capable of developing strong networks and customer relationships by means of on-site meetings, technical presentations, and project team interactions
