The Security Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the educational environment in Darwin, NT. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of security staff to ensure effective security coverage.

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, providing first aid and coordinating with local authorities as necessary.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of security incidents and daily activities.
• Train and mentor security personnel to enhance their skills and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with educational staff to promote a culture of safety and security within the institution.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security management or related field is advantageous.
• Entry-level experience in security or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is desirable.
