About the RoleÌý
We areÌýseekingÌýa skilled and dedicated individualÌýforÌýthe role of Head of Integrity. Working closely with the General Manager, Legal & Integrity, this full-time, permanent positionÌýis responsible forÌýleadingÌýa whole-of-sport integrity framework ensuringÌýall netball participantsÌý– particularlyÌýchildren andÌývulnerableÌýpeopleÌý–Ìýare safe,Ìýincluded, and supported.ÌýThe position will overseeÌýpolicy, education, and complaint management, including confidential investigations, while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and sporting industry best practice across all levels of netball in Australia.Ìý
Key responsibilities include:
- LeadingÌýand embeddingÌýNetball Australia’s integrity strategy, driving a strong, values-ledÌýcultureÌýand managing integrity risks, reporting, and continuous improvement across all levels of the sport.Ìý
- OverseeingÌýthe Integrity Policy Framework,Ìýand governance processesÌýand registers, ensuring alignment with the National Integrity Framework, legislative requirements, and best practice, whileÌýmonitoringÌýregulatory changes and emerging threats.Ìý
- ManagingÌýallÌýintegrityÌýcomplaints and investigations end-to-end, including breach notices, reports, tribunal matters, and stakeholder support, ensuring fair, transparent, and compliant outcomes nationwide.Ìý
- LeadingÌýcore integrity portfolios including safeguarding and child safety, member protection, conduct, inclusion, anti-doping, and anti-corruption (including betting, match-fixing, and integrity agreements), ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations.Ìý
- DesigningÌýandÌýdeliveringÌýintegrity education programs that build awareness, capability, andÌýbehaviouralÌýchange across participants, workforce, andÌýourÌýMember Organisations.Ìý
- EnsuringÌýthe integrity of competitions, including player contracting, payments, and compliance with competition rules and frameworks.Ìý
- BuildingÌýandÌýmaintainingÌýstrong relationships with Member Organisations, clubs, and key stakeholders, including Sport Integrity Australia, regulators, law enforcement, and industry partners.Ìý
- SupportingÌýgovernance, reporting, funding opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned to strategic and operational priorities.Ìý

About YouÌý
We are looking for someone whoÌýpossessesÌýthe following:ÌýÌý
- Alignment to our NA Values – Belong, Be Bold, Be Your Best;Ìý
- A minimum ofÌý5-7Ìýyears’ experience in investigation, law or sports governanceÌýor a related field;ÌýÌý
- Extensive experience in strategic leadership, developing and implementing integrity frameworks, governance systems, compliance policies, and supporting board-level reporting;Ìý
- StrongÌýexpertiseÌýin investigations, risk management, applying procedural fairness in sensitive/complex matters;Ìý
- Sound understanding of anti-corruption practices, stakeholder engagement with regulatory and wagering bodies and oversight of integrity risks;Ìý
- Familiarity with anti-doping frameworks and experience working with organisations such as Sport Integrity Australia, as well as knowledge of sports science/medical governance requirements;Ìý
- Proven experience in safeguarding, member protection, and conduct management across sporting landscape or similar environments;Ìý
- Strong knowledge of competition integrity, including player contracts, salary caps, and compliance with rules and regulations;Ìý
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and advisory skills, withÌýproven experience workingÌýeffectively with senior leadership, boards, and external partners;Ìý
- Tertiary qualifications in law will be highly desirable, but not essential.Ìý
