As Network Steel continues to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong organisational skills, and is looking to build a long-term career within the construction and steel industry. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Estimating, Customer Service and Operations teams, supporting customers from initial enquiry through to project delivery.
Please note: This position is currently based at our Cleveland facility. As part of our continued
growth, Network Steel will be relocating to a new purpose-built facility in Stapylton in December 2026. Applicants should be comfortable transitioning to the new location when the move occurs.

About the Role
As a Sales Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our sales team and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing inbound customer enquiries from new and existing clients
- Supporting the Sales, Estimating and Customer Service teams with quotes, orders and project enquiries
- Following up quotations and customer requests in a timely manner
- Preparing sales documentation, proposals and supporting information
- Building strong relationships with builders, contractors, developers and other stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate customer records and activity within the CRM system
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth project handover and delivery
- Assisting with tender submissions and supporting documentation
- Tracking sales opportunities and supporting reporting activities
About You
You are someone who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in being organised, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- A proactive and customer-focused mindset
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
- A willingness to learn and develop within a growing business
Highly Regarded
- Experience in customer service, administration, internal sales or sales support
- Exposure to construction, steel, fabrication or building materials industries
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot or similar
