No 1 Roofing & Building Supplies is one of the largest wholesale suppliers of metal roofing and building products, servicing Sydney, Central Coast, Hunter, and Mid North Coast regions. We’ve been servicing the Building and Construction industry since 1990, allowing us to build strong and valued relationships with our customers and the most trusted brands in the Australian Building industry.

We’re looking for a Loader, Store and Yards Person to join the highly successful and growing team at our Prestons branch.

We have x2 full-time roles available, working from 4:00am to 12:00pm & 2nd role 12:00pm to 8:00pm Mon-Fri plus overtime where available

Your work may include:

• Fulfilling inward and outward orders
• Driving continuous improvement including unloading / loading time and error reduction
• Safely loading orders on trucks and other vehicles
• Receiving new shipments, unpacking goods and restocking shelves
• Maintain outstanding store condition and workplace housekeeping standards
• General warehouse duties
• Picking and packing goods

About you:

You’ll have great communication and time-management skills and love the challenge of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You’ve got a keen eye for detail and take pride your work.

A forklift license and experience in the handling, loading, and restraining of manufactured goods is essential, and experience in the roofing or building materials industry would be highly regarded.
