Novigi is the data and technology partner to the Financial Services Industry with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Wollongong and Colombo, Sri Lanka. At our core, we are data-driven transformation and business optimisation experts. We partner with our clients to transform their business functions through the clever use of data and interoperability. We do this by offering a range of services and solutions.
Role Description
The AI Adoption Coach delivers practical, high-touch AI adoption across Novigi, helping staff build confidence and capability through real work, live tooling and structured coaching pathways. The role translates the AI function’s adoption pathways, tooling standards, fluency model and microagent pipeline into safe, repeatable and valuable AI-augmented ways of working, while surfacing adoption friction, tooling gaps, use case opportunities and stories of impact.
The AI Adoption Coach is responsible for:
Coaching & Adoption Delivery:
- Plan and run cohort programs that take groups of staff through stage-mapped AI adoption pathways using real work and live tooling.
- Provide 1:1 coaching at fluency-stage transition points to unblock staff, build confidence and support practical behaviour change.
- Run office hours as open coaching access for Novigi staff with questions, problems or AI use case ideas.
Microagent Enablement:
- Pair with employees who have a microagent idea, then help them scope, build, test, document and launch it in the appropriate firm-approved environment.
- Leave coachees capable of building or improving their next microagent independently, rather than creating dependency on the coach.
Practice Standards, Tooling & Capability:
- Stay current on Novigi’s AI tooling stack, fluency model, coaching standards and shared coaching toolkit.
- Contribute to calibration sessions, coaching playbooks, reusable examples and practical guidance that improve consistency across the AI function.
- Model strong AI-augmented work practices in the coach’s own daily workflow, demonstrating the standard expected of coaches.
Responsible AI, Judgement & Workflow Integration:
- Coach staff on when to use AI, when not to use AI and where human-in-the-loop checkpoints are required.
- Apply practical judgement around AI limitations, including hallucinations, confidence miscalibration, numerical reasoning, citation accuracy and sensitive synthesis.
- Coach consistently to Novigi’s AI policy, data-handling rules, identity and permissioning models and relevant regulatory boundaries.
- Assess delivery processes, advice workflows, operations tasks and business workflows to identify where AI fits, where it does not and how controls should operate.
Essential AI & Technical Capability:
- Daily working capability across Novigi’s standard AI stack, including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and approved agentic or microagent build environments.
- Familiarity with adjacent AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and research tools, with the ability to translate patterns and practices between toolsets.
- Strong working knowledge of prompt engineering and interaction design, including role prompting, examples, structured outputs, instruction sequencing, context loading, and iterative refinement.
- Ability to scope, build, validate, document, and support early adoption of microagents in platforms such as Copilot Studio, Claude projects/artifacts, or comparable environments.
- Ability to assess business workflows and identify where AI, automation, human review, and control points should be applied.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets at a non-trivial level, with a practical understanding of data classification, low-code automation tools, APIs, and integration concepts.
Coaching, Communication & Change:
- Strong facilitation, coaching, storytelling, written communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts without jargon and adapt coaching to different levels of AI fluency, confidence, and scepticism.
- Confidence working across cohorts, individuals, functional teams, and business leaders to build sustained adoption rather than one-off enthusiasm.
- Reflective practice mindset, capturing what works, what does not, and feeding insights back into adoption design, standards, tooling, and future cohort delivery.
Useful Adjacent Skills:
- Light scripting experience, such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control concepts.
- Prior exposure to M365 administration, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, n8n, Make, or comparable low-code automation environments.
- Basic understanding of how language models are trained, updated, evaluated, and governed.
- Willingness to grow into these areas over the first 12 to 18 months; absence at hire is acceptable, but indifference to developing them is not
