The Senior Cloud Infrastructure Project ManagerÌýis responsible forÌýleading the delivery of complex cloud infrastructure initiatives forÌýNovigiÌýand its clients. This role focuses on the planning and execution ofÌýcloud‑firstÌýand hybrid infrastructure programs, includingÌýlarge‑scaleÌýmigrations fromÌýon‑premisesÌýenvironments to Microsoft Azure and AWS.Ìý

The role requires deep understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts and the ability to leadÌýcross‑skilledÌýengineering teams (cloud, network, security, DevOps, and operations) to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant cloud platforms. The Project Manager will work closely with client stakeholders, internal engineering teams, and external vendors to translate infrastructure strategy into successful delivery outcomes.

¸é±ð²õ±è´Ç²Ô²õ¾±²ú¾±±ô¾±³Ù¾±±ð²õ:ÌýÌý

  • LeadÌýend‑to‑endÌýdelivery of cloud infrastructure projects, including Azure and AWS platform builds, migrations, and hybrid cloud implementations.Ìý
  • Own project planning, execution, governance, and reporting forÌýinfrastructure‑ledÌýprograms.Ìý
  • Lead migrations ofÌýon‑premisesÌýdata centres, applications, and platforms to cloud environments.Ìý
  • Plan and manage migration waves to minimise downtime and business disruption.Ìý
  • Coordinate dependencies across networking, security, DevOps, and operations teams.Ìý
  • Engage with clients, engineers, architects, and vendors to define scope, requirements, and delivery approach.Ìý
  • CommunicateÌýprogress, risks, andÌýimpactsÌýclearly to both technical andÌýnon‑technicalÌýstakeholders.Ìý
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions meet security, regulatory, and compliance requirements (e.g. financial services, superannuation).Ìý
  • ProactivelyÌýidentifyÌýdelivery and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.Ìý
  • Track and manage cloud costs, resourcing, and schedules to ensure efficient delivery and value realisation.Ìý
  • Work with engineering teams to optimise infrastructure usage and cost whereÌýrequired.Ìý
  • Coordinate identity, networking, security, and connectivity patterns across environments.ÌýÌý

Skills and experienceÌý

  • Proven experience delivering cloud infrastructure projects, includingÌýlarge‑scaleÌýmigrations to Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.Ìý
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts including; Virtualisation, Networking, Storage (SAN, cloud storage), Backup and disaster recovery, Identity and access management.
  • Demonstrated experience leadingÌýcross‑functionalÌýinfrastructure teams (cloud engineers, network, security, DevOps, operations).Ìý
  • Hands‑onÌýunderstanding of Azure services and architecture.Ìý
  • Current Microsoft Azure certification (e.g. AZ‑104, AZ‑305 or equivalent).Ìý
  • Experience delivering projects in highly regulated environments (financial services, banking, superannuation).Ìý
  • Ability to communicate complex infrastructure topics in clear, simple terms to senior stakeholders.Ìý
  • Strong experience using Agile delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban) within infrastructure programs.Ìý
  • Proven ability toÌýoperateÌýin ambiguous environments and translate strategy into executable delivery plans.Ìý
  • Strong risk management skills, particularly in migration and infrastructure change programs.Ìý
