We
are seeking an experienced Casual/ Ful-time Boning Room Team Member to join our
production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and
safety-focused professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and performs
well in a fast-paced environment. You will be confident working both
independently and collaboratively, bring a strong work ethic and positive
attitude, and be physically capable of handling repetitive manual tasks using
safe lifting techniques.
Skills
and experience
·Previous
boning or butchery experience, ideally with at least 1 year in a similar role
·Physical
fitness and the ability to work on your feet for the duration of the shift
·Strong
understanding of workplace safety, manual handling and safe operating
procedures
·Ability
to operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
·A
dependable work ethic, strong attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude
·Commitment
to meeting production targets while maintaining high quality standards
·Previous
experience working in cold rooms or freezer environments will be highly
regarded
·Clear
written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to complete and
maintain accurate records
Key
duties
·Support
the receival, processing and batching of pork products in line with production
requirements
·Maintain
high standards of food safety, quality assurance and workplace safety at all
times
·Contribute
to general cleaning and housekeeping to ensure work areas remain hygienic and
well organised
·Complete
production paperwork and records accurately and in a timely manner
·Demonstrate
reliability, punctuality and a consistent commitment to team performance
