Summary:

The PHH Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership, governance, and oversight of mental health services across provided within or coordinated from the Peel Health Hub, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and culturally appropriate care.

 The role maintains a clinical caseload, delivers direct therapeutic services, and supports staff through supervision, guidance, and best-practice frameworks. It is responsible for service quality, risk management, and compliance, while coordinating programs and partnerships to improve outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership, oversight, and supervision across programs and clinicians
• Maintain clinical governance, ensuring quality, safety, risk management, and evidence-based practice
• Deliver and support culturally safe, inclusive, and client-centred services
• Oversee service delivery, referrals, care coordination, and stakeholder engagement
• Monitor service performance, outcomes, reporting, and compliance with funding and standards
• Contribute to program planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement
• Support workforce capability, development, and a positive team culture
• Maintain clinical documentation, privacy, and record management standards
• Manage clinical risk escalation and uphold clinical practice standards
• Maintain a partial clinical caseload aligned to operational needs and KPIs
• Maintain up to date records, in accordance with portfolios/key responsibilities.
• Contribute to data collection and program/activity evaluation processes

Essential Qualifications/ Experience:

One of the following mental health qualifications:

1. Mental Health Registered Nurse
2. Mental Health Accredited Social Worker
3. Mental Health specialised Occupational
4. Registered Psychologist

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Clinical Mental Health role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent understanding of mental health legislation and policies in Australia
