Summary:
The PHH Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership, governance, and oversight of mental health services across provided within or coordinated from the Peel Health Hub, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and culturally appropriate care.
 The role maintains a clinical caseload, delivers direct therapeutic services, and supports staff through supervision, guidance, and best-practice frameworks. It is responsible for service quality, risk
management, and compliance, while coordinating programs and partnerships to improve outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership, oversight, and supervision across programs and clinicians
- Maintain clinical governance, ensuring quality, safety, risk management, and evidence-based practice
- Deliver and support culturally safe, inclusive, and client-centred services
- Oversee service delivery, referrals, care coordination, and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor service performance, outcomes, reporting, and compliance with funding and standards
- Contribute to program planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Support workforce capability, development, and a positive team culture
- Maintain clinical documentation, privacy, and record management standards
- Manage clinical risk escalation and uphold clinical practice standards
- Maintain a partial clinical caseload aligned to operational needs and KPIs
- Maintain up to date records, in accordance with portfolios/key responsibilities.
- Contribute to data collection and program/activity evaluation processes
Essential Qualifications/ Experience:
One of the following mental health qualifications:
- Mental Health Registered Nurse
- Mental Health Accredited Social Worker
- Mental Health specialised Occupational
- Registered Psychologist
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Clinical Mental Health role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent understanding of mental health legislation and policies in Australia
