Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Delivery Driver / Pick & Pack Assistant to join our team in South Townsville. This casual role is based in a fast-paced warehouse environment and involves early morning starts to ensure all orders are prepared and delivered on time. The position is essential in maintaining the quality, organisation, and timely distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack fruit and vegetable orders within a warehouse setting
  • Organise and maintain stock to ensure optimal freshness and quality
  • Load delivery vehicles efficiently and safely
  • Complete scheduled deliveries in a timely and professional manner
  • Receive, check, and rotate incoming stock
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and delivery vehicles
  • Monitor product quality and remove damaged or unsuitable items
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety procedures

About You

  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with early morning starts
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or produce handling
  • Basic knowledge of fruit and vegetable quality and storage
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
