About the roleÌý
Looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? We are currently seeking reliable, motivated and a physically fit Stock Hand to join our team at Wattleridge in West Wyalong NSW.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced farming environment.
As our Stock Hand, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring feed, water and ventilation systems daily
- Checking egg numbers, egg belts and production performance
- Conducting routine farm maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshooting and fixing feed carts and equipment
- Supervising and supporting Shed Hands
- Training and guiding new team members
- Maintaining strong communication across the farm team
- Adhering to WH&S policies and company procedures

- 10 day fortnight
- Alternating weekends

We’re looking for someone who is motivated, dependable and enjoys taking initiative. You’ll be a strong communicator who can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a close-knit farm team.
This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, has a strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards across farm operations.
RequirementsÌý
- Previous farming or outdoor work experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, lifting and manual handling
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide direction and support to team members
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport
- A pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening is required before you begin.
- A current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable car.Ìý
