The opportunity 

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting the CFO and leading the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial control, and continuous improvement across systems and processes.

You’ll play a key role in providing financial insights that support business decision-making while managing and developing an offshore finance team.  

Your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Financial Reporting & Control
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and deliver management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Oversee financial consolidations and maintain data integrity
  • Manage statutory compliance (ATO, ASIC, audit, banking requirements)
  • Strengthen internal controls and identify improvement opportunities
  • Take ownership of offshore team output to ensure quality and deadlines are met
  • Planning & Business Support
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Provide financial insights to support operational and commercial decisions
  • Assist in preparing reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders
  • Systems & Process Improvement
  • Identify and implement improvements across financial processes
  • Enhance reporting capabilities across Xero, Power BI, and related systems
  • Drive automation and efficiency initiatives
  • Evaluate systems and tools to support business growth
  • Team Leadership
  • Manage and develop a small offshore finance team

About You

  • CA or CPA qualified
  • 3–6 years’ experience in finance or accounting (Big 4 experience highly regarded)
  • Experience in a fast-paced or PE-backed environment is advantageous
  • Strong experience with Xero; exposure to Power BI or similar tools
  • Experience working with offshore or shared services teams
  • High attention to detail with strong accountability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into insights
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, organised, self-motivated and self-driven.
