RSA is seeking an experienced and qualifiedÌýSenior Site Executive (SSE)Ìýto lead our quarry operations in theÌýWestern Downs region, Queensland.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring quarry operations are conducted safely, efficiently and in accordance with theÌýMining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 (Qld), while delivering strong operational and commercial outcomes.
Working aÌý5:2 roster, you’ll enjoy the ability to return home each night, keeping your weekends free. *Accommodation options are available for those travelling from outside the local area.
About the Role: As the Senior Site Executive, you’ll provide leadership across all aspects of the quarry operation, driving a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
Working closely with operational teams and senior management, you’ll be responsible for achieving cost & production objectives, maintaining compliance, managing resources effectively and delivering sustainable business outcomes.

- BSBWHS521 Ensure a safe workplace for a work area (previously BSBWHS501), or an equivalent or superior qualification.
- A recognised Shotfirer’s LicenceÌýORÌýthe three competency units: RIIBLA301E (previously RIIBLA301D)ÌýConduct Surface Shot Firing OperationsÌý, RIIBLA205E (previously RIIBLA205D)Store, Handle and Transport ExplosivesÌýand RIIBLA305E (previously RIIBLA305D)ÌýConduct Secondary BlastingÌýORÌýa recognised Safe Drilling and Blasting course.
- Extensive knowledge of DTMR material classifications and specifications.
- Proven ability to balance safety, production and commercial outcomes
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence + General Construction Induction (White Card)
- A strong understanding of statutory obligations and operational requirements within the quarrying or mining sector
- Well-developed leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
