Role OverviewÌýÌý

We are looking for aÌýHead of Regulatory & ComplianceÌýto join our Group Legal & Compliance team. This is a pivotal, newly created role designed to manage our growing regulatory landscape as we expand our energy retail licensing.Ìý

Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will provide specialistÌýknowledgeÌýandÌýexpertiseÌýto ensure our processes across customer care, billing and pricing are beyond reproach.ÌýÌý

This is aÌýhandsÌýonÌýrole that balances regulatory interpretation with the practical implementation of compliance systemsÌýacross the business,ÌýhavingÌýaÌýdirect impact onÌýSUPA’sÌýoverallÌýrisk profileÌýandÌýstrategic priorities.ÌýÌý

What does a day inÌýthe lifeÌýlook like?ÌýÌý

  • Managing the Compliance Calendar:ÌýTaking ownership ofÌýtime basedÌýobligations across ESC, AER, ACMA, and state bodies.Ìý
  • Building Infrastructure:ÌýDesigning,ÌýimplementingÌýandÌýmaintainingÌýcompliance systems and documentationÌýacross all parts of the business.Ìý
  • Regulatory Reporting:ÌýPreparing and lodging highÌýquality performance reports and annual compliance statements.Ìý
  • Breach Management:ÌýInvestigating potential issues, classifyingÌýbreachesÌýand drafting notifications for the General Counsel.Ìý
  • Internal Coordination:ÌýPartnering with Operations, FinanceÌýand Customer Service to embed compliance practices into daily work.Ìý
  • Policy Development:ÌýDrafting and updating compliance policies and work instructions to reflect current regulatory requirements.Ìý
