About theÌýOpportunityÌý

Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for community impact?ÌýStrive isÌýseekingÌýa creativeÌýand purpose-driven Marketing and Communications Officer to help strengthen our brand, grow community engagement, and promote the impact of our services.Ìý

Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture, this roleÌýis responsible forÌýdelivering marketing and communications activity across Strive and Landsdale Farm. You will create engaging content, manage campaigns, supportÌýeventsÌýand fundraising initiatives,ÌýmaintainÌýdigital platforms, andÌýprovideÌýperformance insights that help refine our marketing efforts.Ìý

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can combine strong content creation and storytelling capability with practical coordination, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week.Ìý

Key ResponsibilitiesÌý

  • Develop andÌýmaintainÌýa strong and consistent digital presence across websites, socialÌýmediaÌýand other online platforms to increase brand awareness, serviceÌývisibilityÌýand audience engagementÌýÌý
  • Create high-quality, brand-aligned content and marketing collateral across digital,ÌýprintÌýand promotional channelsÌýÌý
  • Plan and deliver marketing campaigns, communications and community engagement initiatives aligned with organisational prioritiesÌý
  • Coordinate internal and external events, including promotional activities, communityÌýeventsÌýand fundraising initiativesÌýÌý
  • Support the development of the annual report and other key organisational publicationsÌýÌý
  • Monitor, analyse and report on campaign and channel performance to inform continuous improvement and effective resource useÌýÌý
  • Ensure communications and promotional materials align with brand standards, accessibilityÌýexpectationsÌýand relevant legislative requirementsÌýÌý
  • Work collaboratively with leaders and internal stakeholders toÌýidentifyÌýopportunities to promote services, achievements,ÌýeventsÌýand organisational impactÌý

Selection CriteriaÌý

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, PublicÌýRelationsÌýor a related fieldÌý
  • 2–3 years’ experience in an internalÌýmarketing/comms role, ideally in theÌýdisability, community services, orÌýnot-for-purpose sectorÌý
  • Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, social media management,Ìýcampaign coordinationÌý
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design toolsÌýÌý
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiencesÌýÌý
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities withÌýa high levelÌýof autonomyÌýÌý
  • Experience preparing reports using marketing data and analytics toÌýidentifyÌýtrends and provide insightsÌý
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skillsÌý
  • Experience coordinating fundraisingÌýevents, partnerships, or sponsorship initiativesÌý
